About

Where to begin?

I think I have always had a creative streak. At the age of 9, I can remember drawing a picture of a big red motorbike in an art class; and I can still remember how it made me feel.

As I grew into my teens I got involved in music, which led me to take my first steps in writing and composing songs. Around the same time, I picked up my first box Brownie camera and happily snapped away on 24-exposure Kodak film cartridges for days.

My writing and photography really sparked into life in the early 1990s when I started writing poems and stories from ideas I developed riding on trains across the UK. This period proved invaluable and has set a foundation for the last 30 years.

I recently turned 50 and so decided to draw together some of my work for you now, both old and new to share the wonder of the journey.

A famous Rabbi once said that no one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl. I guess this is me trying to shine that light.
